Floral Fling is organic, yet geometric - with a play of colors, shapes and movement. It is a multicolor serigraph, signed and numbered, in a limited edition of 200. Each image is created one at a time, by hand, on archival printing paper. Individually stretched silkscreens have been made in the dimensions of the image. With a special block-out, only planned areas/shapes allow the ink to be deposited on the paper, when the ink is 'squeegeed', by hand, across the stretched silk. It is essentially a matter of color separation. Some of the inks are opaque, and some very transparent. When all the colors are deposited from several screens and overlapped, the range of colors achieved are innumerable.
