Barbara Danzi hand-cut pieces of solid fabric and arranged them into a compelling composition before sewing them together on her machine. Next she layered the design on top of cotton batting and a fabric backing and sewed lines of quilting stitches through all three layers, resulting in a wonderful texture. Quilt has a fabric sleeve on the back and includes a wooden slat which fits in the sleeve for hanging.
