"Hostas by the Spring" was inspired by the garden behind the artist's house in a small Vermont village. Judy Hawkins' colors and brushstokes create a landscape with a realistic yet surreal quality inviting the viewer in to take a walk among the hostas and to hear the rushing spring spilling over the moss covered rocks.
