This timeless mixed-media piece features an original photograph printed with archival pigment inks on cotton printmaking paper. Artist Yuko Ishii highlights the image with acrylic paints to create a painterly effect, and affixes the print to a cradled wood panel with a vinyl coating. The piece is then coated with wax to give the image a translucent quality. The sides of the panel are painted black and finished with clear acrylic, so framing is optional. Signed with title, date, medium, size, and edition number on the back of the panel. Ready to hang.
