Leslie W. Friedman's work is an expression of the beauty in nature in its many organic forms, and a celebration of color. This work features thick slabs of glass with depth and texture, made by combining combinations of color in sheet glass, glass paint, glass frit and stringers. She composed many parts of the composition face down by layering pre-fired components into the multiple layers of transparent and opaque glass, resulting in a one-of-a-kind art glass wall sculpture. Signed on the front, it's ready to hang via two separate hooks.
