Transparent Remnant Vessel in Ruby and Teal
The Remnant Vessel series is comprised of bright and vibrant glass sculptures. Justin first produces two oval or "disk-shaped" vessels with his custom color designs on the surface. After the pieces have cooled from the blowing process, he cuts sections away from the vessels and cold polishes every new surface to an optically pure finish. He then assembles the pieces into the final form using a permanent, ultraviolet laminate. Surface design may slightly vary. Signed on bottom.
