This acrylic work was inspired by the Valles Caldera in the Jemez Mountains in New Mexico. Painted with high-flow paints mixed with water and paint conditioner, the mix allowed artist Ming Franz to tilt and shake the canvas, resulting in a fluid, expressive aesthetic. Gallery-wrapped with the sides painted a solid color, this one-of-a-kind work is signed front and back and is ready to hang.
